VeneersPrice in Pakistan
Medically reviewed byDr. Saad Irfan— MDS, MSc, BDS·
Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of teeth to change colour, shape, size or alignment. They are priced per tooth, which is the first thing to get straight when comparing quotes — a figure that looks reasonable per tooth becomes substantial across the eight to ten teeth that show when you smile.
Across Pakistan, composite veneers run roughly PKR 8,000 to 20,000 per tooth and porcelain or E-max PKR 25,000 to 70,000. A full upper smile of eight E-max veneers therefore sits in the mid-hundreds of thousands.
The more important distinction is not cost but reversibility. Composite veneers are added to the tooth and can generally be removed. Porcelain and E-max usually require enamel to be reduced first, and enamel does not grow back — from that point the tooth needs a veneer or crown permanently. That is a decision worth making slowly.

The short version
- Veneers are priced per tooth, and the case size is set by how many teeth show when you smile. For most people that is six to ten, not two.
- Composite is built by hand in one visit and costs least. Porcelain and lithium disilicate are laboratory made, last longer and cost several times more.
- Whitening happens before veneers, never after, because the veneers are matched to the teeth around them.
- Veneers do not fix a bite problem. Placing them over one shortens their life.
Where the money goes
The stages you are paying for
This is not one appointment. Each stage below is separate work, and the gaps between them are healing time rather than delay.
Design and records
Photographs, shade selection and a plan for the shape. A trial smile bonded on temporarily lets you see the proposed result before anything irreversible happens.
Preparation
A thin layer of enamel is removed, an impression or scan is taken, and temporary veneers are fitted. How much is removed depends on the material and the starting position of the teeth.
Laboratory fabrication
Each veneer is made individually to the prescription. This is the stage a case cannot be cancelled without paying for, because they are made for one mouth only.
Bonding
Fit, shade and bite are checked before bonding. Once bonded the treatment is not reversible, which is the reason for the trial smile earlier.
Dental Veneers prices across Pakistan in 2026
Per-tooth market ranges. Multiply by the number of teeth in your smile line — usually six to ten on the upper arch — to get a realistic total.
| Type | Market range (PKR) |
|---|---|
Composite veneers (direct, same-day) Built up by hand in the mouth in a single visit. Minimal or no enamel removal, and repairable. Lasts around five to seven years and stains over time. | 8,000 – 20,000 |
Porcelain veneers Laboratory-made, bonded at a second appointment. Highly stain-resistant, typically ten to fifteen years. | 25,000 – 50,000 |
E-max veneers Lithium disilicate. The most natural light handling available and the strongest of the thin ceramics. The premium option for a full smile design. | 40,000 – 70,000 |
Overall market range: PKR 8,000 – 70,000 per tooth. These are prices observed across dental practices in Pakistan, published so you can set a realistic budget and judge whether a quote you have been given is reasonable. They are not Dr Saad Dentistry’s prices. See how our pricing works.
What makes the price go up or down
Material
The dominant factor. E-max can be three times the per-tooth cost of composite.
How many teeth are being treated
Priced per tooth. Most smile makeovers involve six to ten upper teeth, and sometimes the lower arch as well.
Whether digital smile design is used
Digital planning with a mock-up you can see and approve before any tooth is touched adds cost, and substantially reduces the risk of disliking the result.
Preparatory work
Gum contouring, whitening of the teeth that will not be veneered, or orthodontic alignment first — each may be needed and each is quoted separately.
The laboratory and technician
For front teeth this is where the difference between 'obviously veneers' and 'good teeth' is actually made. Skilled ceramic work costs more because it is scarce.
Should be inside the figure
- Smile design planning and shade selection
- Diagnostic mock-up where offered
- Tooth preparation where the material requires it
- Temporary veneers between appointments for laboratory-made options
- Bonding, bite check and final polish
- A review appointment after fitting
Use this as a checklist when comparing quotes. A figure that leaves out half the list is not cheaper, it is incomplete.
Usually priced separately
- Whitening beforehandVeneers are matched to a shade. If you intend to whiten your remaining natural teeth, do it first.
- Gum contouringWhere gum levels are uneven, correcting them first is often what makes the final result look natural.
- Orthodontics firstSignificantly misaligned teeth sometimes need moving before veneering, otherwise the veneers must be made unnaturally thick to compensate.
- Night guard afterwardsStrongly advised for anyone who grinds. Grinding is the most common cause of veneer fracture.
- Replacement over timeVeneers are not permanent. Composite needs replacing sooner; ceramic eventually needs replacing too.
These sit outside the headline figure and are the usual reason a final bill exceeds expectations. Not all of them will apply to you.

How many teeth?
A best guess is fine. The range scales per tooth, and an examination is what settles the real number.

Against the alternatives
This is not the only option worth pricing
The comparison worth making runs over ten years rather than one appointment. Cheapest on the day and cheapest overall are frequently different treatments.
Dental Veneers
8k – 70k
The treatment this guide covers, per tooth.
Whitening
15k – 50k
Where the concern is colour rather than shape, whitening achieves it for a fraction of the cost and removes nothing from the tooth. Worth exhausting before considering veneers.
Compare properlyOrthodontics
90k – 3.5 lac
Where the concern is that teeth are crooked, moving them is the treatment. Facing crooked teeth with veneers to make them look straight means removing more enamel than would otherwise be necessary.

How prices compare across Pakistani cities
| Karachi | The largest concentration of cosmetic-focused practices and skilled ceramic laboratories, with a correspondingly wide price range. |
| Lahore | Comparable range and good laboratory access. |
| Islamabad | Typically slightly higher. |
| Smaller cities | Composite veneers are widely available; high-end ceramic work usually means travelling. |
Why the cheapest option often costs more
Veneers are the treatment where a cheap result is most visible and hardest to undo.
Poorly made veneers are recognisable at a glance: uniform, too bright, too flat, with no variation in translucency between the edge and the body of the tooth. Real teeth are not one colour and a good technician reproduces that. It is the single clearest tell between skilled and unskilled ceramic work.
The more serious issue is over-preparation. Where too much enamel is removed to accommodate a thick veneer, the tooth is permanently weakened and may end up needing a crown or root canal later. Enamel removed is enamel gone.
Before committing to any veneer case, ask to see the practice's own previous work — photographs of their patients, not stock imagery — and ask whether a mock-up is provided so you can see the proposed shape in your own mouth before any tooth is touched. A practice confident in its result will offer that unprompted.
Payment in stages
Longer courses of treatment are commonly paid in stages across the treatment period rather than up front, with each payment tied to an appointment milestone. Most established Karachi practices will structure this if you ask; it is a normal request and it should not change the treatment you are offered.
How we quote
Everything above is the Pakistani market. For your own case we quote after an examination rather than before it, because the figures on this page move substantially depending on findings we cannot assess without looking: bone condition, canal anatomy, how much sound tooth structure is actually left.
A consultation is PKR 2,000, the same at all three clinics. It covers a full examination, the diagnostic X-rays needed on the day, and a written treatment plan with every item priced separately. You are under no obligation to proceed with any of it.
Questions
Dental Veneers cost, asked plainly
How much do veneers cost in Pakistan?
Composite veneers roughly PKR 8,000 to 20,000 per tooth; porcelain PKR 25,000 to 50,000; E-max PKR 40,000 to 70,000. Prices are per tooth.
How much is a full set of veneers?
Most smile makeovers cover six to ten upper teeth. At E-max prices that puts a full upper smile in the mid-hundreds of thousands of rupees; composite is a fraction of it.
Composite or porcelain?
Composite is cheaper, done in one visit, repairable and largely reversible, but it stains and lasts around five to seven years. Porcelain and E-max cost more, look better for longer and resist staining, but usually require irreversible enamel reduction.
Do veneers ruin your teeth?
Composite generally does not — little or no enamel is removed. Porcelain and E-max usually require enamel reduction, and that is permanent: the tooth will need a veneer or crown from then on.
How long do veneers last?
Composite around five to seven years, porcelain and E-max ten to fifteen or more with good care. Grinding shortens all of those considerably.
Can veneers be whitened later?
No. Ceramic and composite do not respond to bleaching. Whiten your natural teeth before the veneers are made so the shade is matched to the final result.
Do veneers look fake?
Badly made ones do — uniform colour, flat surface, no translucency variation. Well-made ones are difficult to identify. It comes down to the ceramist rather than the material.
How many visits do veneers take?
Composite is usually one visit. Porcelain and E-max are typically two — preparation and impression, then bonding, with temporaries in between.
What is a Snap-On Smile?
A removable appliance that clips over your existing teeth. It is far cheaper and completely reversible, but it is a cosmetic overlay rather than a restoration and does not look or function like bonded veneers.
Can I have veneers on crooked teeth?
Mild irregularity can be masked. Significant misalignment is better corrected orthodontically first, otherwise the veneers must be made too thick and look bulky.
Do veneers need special care?
Normal brushing and flossing, plus a night guard if you grind. Avoid using front teeth to bite hard objects — ceramic chips where enamel would flex.
What happens when a veneer breaks?
Composite can usually be repaired directly. Ceramic normally has to be remade, which means the cost of that tooth again.
People also ask about dental veneers cost
How many veneers do I actually need?
As many teeth as show when you smile broadly, which is usually six to ten and occasionally twelve. Doing only the front two commonly leaves a visible mismatch with the teeth beside them.
Are composite veneers worth it?
For a smaller change, a limited budget, or a case where the patient wants something reversible, yes. They stain over time and typically need refreshing every four to seven years, where porcelain holds its finish far longer.
Do veneers ruin your teeth?
Preparation removes enamel and that part is permanent, so the tooth will always need a covering afterwards. Minimal preparation designs remove very little, but no honest description of veneers should call the treatment reversible.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
Ten to fifteen years is a reasonable expectation with good gum health and a guard if you grind. The usual reasons for replacement are a chip, a change at the gum margin, or the patient wanting a different shade later.
