Terms &Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and the dental care we provide at our three Karachi clinics. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If any clause is unclear, ask us before you agree to it — we would far rather explain a term than rely on one you did not understand.
At a glance
- Every treatment plan is quoted in writing before any non-emergency work begins.
- Give us 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment.
- A full consultation and assessment is PKR 2,000.
- Pakistani law applies; the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website, requesting an appointment, or accepting treatment from Dr. Saad Irfan & Associates Dentistry ("we", "us", "the Practice"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services. These terms are effective from 15 August 2026 (version 3.0) and replace all earlier versions. We may amend them; the current version always sits at this URL with its effective date shown. Where a change materially affects a treatment already planned or paid for, the terms in force when you agreed to that treatment continue to apply to it.
Who these terms are between
They are between you — the patient, or the parent or guardian consenting on a patient's behalf — and the Practice as a whole. All three clinics operate under the same terms, the same clinical protocols and the same hours.
The Dental Services We Provide
We provide general, restorative, cosmetic, paediatric and surgical dentistry, including examinations, scaling and polishing, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, veneers, whitening, orthodontics, dental implants, extractions and emergency dental care. Every treatment is offered subject to clinical assessment. Nothing on this website is an offer to provide a specific treatment to a specific person: what is appropriate for you can only be decided after examination, and sometimes after radiographs.
Clinical judgement
Our dentists will recommend what they believe to be in your clinical interest. If we consider a treatment you have asked for to be inadvisable, we will explain why and offer the alternatives. We reserve the right to decline to provide a treatment we do not consider clinically justified — that is a professional obligation, not a commercial preference.
Outcomes
Dentistry is a clinical service, not a manufactured product. We commit to the standard of care, the materials and the technique — we cannot guarantee a specific outcome, because healing, bone quality, oral hygiene and habits such as grinding all affect the result and not all of them are within our control. Where a published survival or success figure is quoted anywhere on this site, it is the figure documented in the peer-reviewed literature, not a claim about our own results.
Emergency care
We see dental emergencies during our opening hours — 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week, including public holidays. We are not a 24-hour service and we do not claim to be.
If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, facial swelling that is spreading towards the eye or the neck, uncontrolled bleeding, or a high fever with a dental infection, do not wait for a dental appointment. Go to a hospital accident and emergency department immediately, or call 1122. Those signs are managed in a hospital, not in a dental chair.
Appointments, Cancellations and Late Arrival
Appointments may be booked by WhatsApp, by phone, through the form on this website, or in person. An online request is a request, not a confirmed booking — your appointment exists once we have confirmed it back to you, which we aim to do within two hours during opening hours.
Giving notice
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. A dental appointment is a reserved clinical room, a dentist and an assistant; a late cancellation usually cannot be filled, and the patient who could have used that slot has already been turned away.
Repeated non-attendance
Repeated failure to attend without notice may mean we ask for the consultation fee in advance before booking further appointments. We apply this sparingly and we will always tell you before it applies to you.
Running late
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the appointment has to be shortened or rescheduled, because the time booked after yours belongs to someone else. We will always try to see you, and we would rather you came late than not at all — call ahead and we will tell you honestly whether it is still workable.
If we run late
Clinical emergencies do occur and they take priority. If we are running significantly behind, reception will tell you when you arrive, and you can choose to wait or to rebook at no cost. The full detail sits in our Appointments, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Fees, Payment and Insurance
What we charge
A full consultation, examination and assessment is PKR 2,000. This is the same at all three clinics. Treatment fees depend on the clinical findings — the number of canals in a tooth, the condition of the bone, the material chosen — which is why we do not quote treatment prices over the phone. You receive a written treatment plan with the cost before any non-emergency work begins, and no work outside that plan is carried out without asking you first.
Quotes and changes
A written quote is valid for 90 days. If something is found during treatment that changes the plan — a crack under an old filling, a canal that turns out to be blocked — we stop, explain what has changed, and get your agreement before continuing. You will not receive a bill for work you did not agree to.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. We accept cash in Pakistani rupees, bank transfer, EasyPaisa and JazzCash. For longer courses of treatment, the fee can usually be staged across appointments — ask before starting, not afterwards.
Insurance and employer panels
If you are claiming from a dental insurance policy or an employer panel, tell us before treatment begins. We will provide itemised invoices, treatment notes and radiographs to support your claim. Unless we have confirmed a direct arrangement with your provider in writing, the fee is payable by you at the time of treatment and you claim it back yourself. You remain responsible for any part of the fee your provider declines to cover.
Refunds
Treatment already carried out is generally not refundable, because the clinical work cannot be returned. Where we have made a clear error, or failed to provide what was agreed, we put it right — usually by redoing the work at our cost, and by refunding where redoing it is not appropriate. Amounts paid in advance for treatment not yet carried out are refundable. Our Appointments, Cancellation & Refund Policy sets out how to ask and how long it takes.
Consent to Treatment
No treatment is carried out without your informed consent. Informed means you have been told what is proposed, why, what it involves, what the material risks are, what the alternatives are including doing nothing, and what it will cost.
- For anything beyond a routine examination or a simple filling, consent is recorded in writing.
- You may withdraw consent at any point, including partway through a procedure, and we will stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
- For a patient under 18, consent is given by a parent or legal guardian, who should attend the appointment.
- Where you lack capacity to consent in an emergency, we will provide only the treatment immediately necessary to relieve pain or prevent harm.
What We Ask of You
Good dentistry is a two-sided arrangement. As a patient you agree to:
- Give accurate and complete medical and contact information, and tell us when it changes.
- Disclose all medication, supplements, and health conditions — particularly heart conditions, diabetes, bleeding disorders, bisphosphonate treatment, pregnancy, and any allergy.
- Follow the aftercare instructions you are given, and tell us promptly if something is not healing as described.
- Attend the follow-up appointments a treatment requires. Some treatments are unsafe if left incomplete.
- Treat our staff and other patients with courtesy.
- Pay for treatment in line with the plan you agreed to.
We reserve the right to end the clinical relationship where a patient is abusive or threatening towards staff or other patients, repeatedly fails to attend, or provides false information for financial gain. Where we do, we will say so in writing, provide emergency cover for a reasonable transition period, and release your records to the practice of your choice.
Using This Website
This website exists to inform and to let you request an appointment. Its articles, guides, price ranges and treatment explanations are general education. They are not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for being examined. Our Medical Disclaimer sets this out in full.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site in a way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights, introduces malicious code, attempts to gain unauthorised access, scrapes it at a volume that degrades service for others, or interferes with its operation. We may restrict access where this happens.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content may be updated or withdrawn at any time.
Third-party links
Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, photographs, clinical images, illustrations, logos, layout and code — belongs to Dr. Saad Irfan & Associates Dentistry or to its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may read, print and save content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish it, sell it, systematically copy it, or present it as your own. Our name, logo and clinical photography may not be used without written permission.
If you think we have infringed yours
Tell us at contact@drsaaddentistry.pk with enough detail to identify the material, and we will investigate and remove anything used without proper right.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our services, including loss of income, loss of data or loss of opportunity. Our total liability for any claim relating to a treatment is limited to the amount you paid for that treatment, whether the claim is brought in contract, in tort, in negligence or otherwise.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. A clinic that tried to contract out of its duty of care would not deserve your trust, and could not lawfully do it in any case.
If You Are Unhappy
Tell us. Speak to the treating dentist, ask for the clinic manager, or write to contact@drsaaddentistry.pk. We acknowledge complaints within two working days and aim to resolve them within ten. Using our process takes nothing away from you: you keep every right to complain to the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council or to pursue a legal remedy at any stage. The full procedure is in our Patient Rights & Responsibilities.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from them, or from your treatment, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Sindh. Before that stage, we ask that you raise the matter with us directly. Most disputes are a misunderstanding about what was agreed, and almost all of them are resolved in a conversation.
Severability
If any clause of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continue in force.
