What result can you actually expect?
Shade improvement is measured on a standard shade guide before and after, so you can see the change rather than take our word for it. In-office whitening typically moves teeth four to eight shades in one appointment, but the honest answer is that it depends on how discoloured they are to begin with — and on what is causing it. Staining from tea, coffee and smoking responds well. Grey discolouration from old trauma or tetracycline responds far less, and we will tell you that at the shade check rather than after you have paid.
One thing to check first: Whitening only works on natural tooth. Crowns, veneers and composite fillings keep their original shade, so if you have visible restorations at the front they may need replacing afterwards to match. This is checked at the shade appointment, before you commit to anything.

Is it safe for enamel?
