Dr. Saeed Ullah

Dr. Saeed Ullah is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon on our team, and one of the most academically credentialled clinicians in the practice. He graduated as a BDS gold medalist — top of his class — before completing FCPS (Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, one of the most demanding postgraduate surgical qualifications available to a dentist in Pakistan. He holds a CHPE (Certificate in Health Professions Education) from CPSP, and has gone on to complete a PhD.

Alongside clinical practice, he holds an academic post as Assistant Professor and Head of Department, teaching and examining the next generation of dental surgeons. That combination — active surgical practice plus a standing academic post — is uncommon, and it shows in how he explains a diagnosis and a treatment plan to a patient: clearly, and with the reasoning included, not just the recommendation.

What sets him apart further is that he does not just perform dental implant and aesthetic dentistry procedures — he personally conducts training courses in both disciplines for other qualified dentists. Dentists attend his courses to learn these techniques, which places his level of expertise a step above a practitioner who has only completed such a course as a student.

Clinically, his work spans both major and minor oral surgery: impacted wisdom teeth, surgically fractured or broken roots that need sectioning rather than simple extraction, dental implant placement (including full-arch implant cases), and facial trauma referred to him by the general dentists on the team.

Every surgical case is planned on imaging first — our clinics use digital OPG as standard, with 3D CBCT brought in wherever nerve position or root anatomy make a flat X-ray insufficient — and appointments use the Wand computer-controlled anaesthesia system, with sedation available for longer procedures or anxious patients.
